Day 17-18 A Royal Ending

We didn't leave England on the best note. I was kind of upset by something that happened between Mialee and I that morning, so I was rather unhappy. We went to Buckingham Palace to see the Changing of the Guard and tour it (as the queen was out of residence), but I found it hard to enjoy because of my sorrow. Luckily, I would get in a better mood before we left.

After spending a night in Frankfurt, we flew back to the United States, having a layover in Detroit. There, we had Chic-Fil-A and then took another plane back to Salt Lake City. We were picked up by our Uncle Brian and driven back home, where we happily reunited with our beloved dog, Charlie. He was happy to see us too.

So in conclusion, this trip was a trip of a lifetime. It was many things, good and bad, but mostly good. We saw places I've only dreamed of, and some I never thought I would. We got to be immersed in different cultures and see many different sights.

One thing for sure, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I am grateful to have gone on this trip. We all are.
